Itinerary (pre-paid entrances marked in bold)
Day 1. … - GDANSK (Poland)
Arrival in Gdansk. Meet your Polish guide and driver.
Visit to the hanseatic ex-Dantzig town, big maritime, commercial and cultural centre, the domain of the crusaders in 14-15 centuries. The old town, gothic Town Hall, Golden Gate, Dluga Street, the enbankment of Moltava, The gothic Notre Dame Church.
Day 2. GDANSK - MALBORG - SOPOT - GDANSK (Poland)
Departure to Malborg (62 km), the capital of crusadors in the beginning of the 14th century, with the biggest brick castle in Europe. Visit to the palace.
Return to Gdansk. Visit to the 12th century Oliwa Cathedral for a 20 minute organ concert with the biggest organ in Poland. Then walk in Sopot and return to Gdansk.
Day 3. GDANSK - MIKOLAJKI (Poland)
Departure to Mazuria. A boat trip on the Eblong canal (an avanturistic hydrotechnical system, built on a flat surface in the 19th century). Time for lunch.
Departure to Swieta Lipka. Arrival and visit to the Notre Dame Basilica, a pearl of late baroque. Overnight in Mikolajki.
Day 4. MIKOLAJKI - KAUNAS - VILNIUS (Poland - Lithuania)
Departure to Kaunas where you meet your Lithuanian guide for a city sightseeing (Unity Square, Freedom Avenue, Town Hall, Vytautas Church, Cathedral, Perkunas House).
After depart to Vilnius and enjoy the panoramic tour before hotel check-in.
Day 5. VILNIUS - TRAKAI - VILNIUS
Sightseeing of the old town of Vilnius: Cathedral, churches of St. Anne, St. Bernard, gate of Dawn, Vilnius University ensemble with the church of St. John, old ghetto, church of Sts. Peter and Paul.
After lunch we go to Trakai (25 km) to see the resort town and the historical Museum of Trakai Castle (Trakai used to be the capital of Lithuanian duchy in middle ages).
After you return to Vilnius where your Lithuanian guide's services end.
Day 6. VILNIUS - SIAULIAI - RUNDALE - RIGA (Lithuania - Latvia)
Departure to Riga with the stop at the world unique Hill of Crosses (220 km). After proceed to Rundale (70 km) where your Latvian guide will show you the Baroque Palace and Garden of Rundale (architect Rastrelli).
Then to Riga for your next overnight.
Day 7. RIGA
Walking sightseeing of Riga Old Town: Dome Cathedral, The Great and The Minor Guilds, Tower of Powder, The Three Brothers' Ensemble, Glaive Gate, churches of St. Jacob, St. John, St. Peter's with the 70m-high tower, Art Nouveau Museum.
Day 8. RIGA - SIGULDA - PARNU - TALLINN (Latvia - Estonia)
Departure to the National Park of Gauja (50 km), excursion to the ruins of the castle of crusadors, Turaida Bishop Castle, artists's hill, caves of Gutmanis. Latvian guide ends his duties here.
You proceed to Tallinn, Estonia with a stop in country's biggest resort town Parnu for a short stroll.
Day 9. TALLINN
Meet your Estonian guide for a whole-day sightseeings: Town Hall, Three Sisters ensemble, Brotherhood of Blackheads, churches of St. Olav and St. Michael, the Long Leg street, Tompea Castle with Pikk Hermann towers, palace of the 18th century (Estonian Parliament these days), the orthodox Cathedral of Alexander Nevski, The Dome Cathedral, panoramic view over the bay.
After lunch we visit Kadriorg Park and Kumu Art Museum.
