Tracing Baltic Barons 8d/7n

Introduction:

At the end of the 13th century, merchants of the Hanseatic Union settled at the Baltic seaside and became the landlords. In ages they put their routes here with the rigths to heritage in local tribes and the Order of Knights of the Sword, which was founded to bring local people to christianity. Rich and influental Baltic barons built nearly 200 manors, the real pearls of architecture. Some of them are nicely restored and turn into hotels, restaurants, museums, etc. A small piece of heritage is introduced during this tour.
